The new year is here and with it comes dreams of goal setting and organization. But who am I kidding, the first month is gone and hopefully you are still hanging on.

If you've been having trouble hanging on, here are a few tools I've been using to keep my head in the game.

Template everything

this makes getting off the ground faster. Templates are the meal prep of Notion. Put in work when you have time so you can work when you don't have the time.

I've been using templates for just about everything, but lately I've been using this Contracting Proposal template to quickly edit, adjust and send clients visually appealing proposals.

the out of the box proposal template

I credit this template with helping me reach half of my income goal for Q1 freelancing. The ability to edit and send pdf's within 15 minutes of a call help to retain clients and set clear goals.

Best Gary-V voice "Content"

One of my old favorite templates, but I've outfitted the task cards with video templates for the lessons I learned in Sean Cannell's 1k YouTube Challenge.

making Youtube moves

Having a working template that lays out what each video needs and sections for each shot, asset, script and link has reduced the amount of time I spend creating Youtube videos and lets me spend more time generating quality content and researching the topics for my videos.
